Wow, amazing (and sad) stories. Having recently moved to Germany I find myself frequently visiting thoughts about the Nazi era. Yesterday I read a sign on the entrance to a nice mansion in the forest — the description of what happened there and who owned it jumped from 1917 to 1951. I couldn’t stop thinking about what occurred in the intervening world war years.
