I Discovered The “Secret” To Getting More “Yes”es
After over 200 discovery calls with marketers and entrepreneurs in the past 2 months, I finally discovered the “secret” to getting more sales, more rapport, more buy-in, and more “Yes”es.
It’s so glaringly obvious and simple, yet very few do it well.
It goes beyond copywriting “hacks”, “proven” sales scripts / tactics or any other hack you can find.
In fact, it’s unhackable.

This “secret” is EMPATHY.
Defined by Merriam-Webster as — “the action of understanding, being aware of, being sensitive to, and vicariously experiencing the feelings, thoughts, and experience of another of either the past or present without having the feelings, thoughts, and experience fully communicated in an objectively explicit manner”.
Defined by me as — “Actually caring enough to give a fuck. Then placing yourself in THEIR shoes”.
Place yourself in someone else’s shoes, and you’ll know their needs, wants, concerns and objections. Sometimes, even before they do.
Empathy is how bosses & managers can have teams that are intrinsically motivated to work tirelessly for them.
Empathy is how salespeople continually have amazing close-rates and client relationships.
Empathy is how marketers create content & offers that compel and convert.
Most importantly, empathy is how to be a human.
If you’re struggling to achieve the buy-in you want, then you need to ask yourself:
