RETH Staking Portal Instructions

The RETH staking portal is now live (on http://staking.realmsofethernity.com), allowing anyone to deposit their desired amount of RETH and start earning rewards. It’s all intuitive and stress-free .
Below is everything you need to know about staking your RETH tokens

Important Notes
- Rewards will start calculating immediately from the moment RETH is staked based on the selected APY.
- Staking will be conducted on the Matic Mainnet. You will need a small amount of MATIC currency in your wallet in order to approve, stake and claim.
- The staking website only works on both desktop/laptop PC and mobile (via the metamsk browser)
Getting Started
Before you start please make sure you switch your network to Polygon and have sufficient MATIC for gas.
Step 1 — Enter the staking portal
Visit ROE Staking website: https://staking.realmsofethernity.com/#/
Please ensure that you only follow the official links in this article.
Step 2 — Connect your wallet
The next step is to connect your wallet. Click on connect your wallet on top right hand corner
Here, you will need to choose MetaMask. You will be redirected to log in to Metamask, enter password and log in
Step 3 — Enter the amounts
After you have connected your wallet, you’re ready to start staking. Input the amount of RETH you want to stake or simply click on Max.
Step 4 — Select the time period
Select the duration of staking period you want to opt based on APR’s.
Below you can check the Principal amount + Expected staking rewards you receive by opting different staking options.
Step 5 — Approve and Stake
After you have chosen your preferred settings, choose your best suitable staking option & slide the bar on Allow us to stake.
A MetaMask prompt will then appear and you’ll have to confirm the transaction. Click on confirm and after transaction goes through you will see a pop up message on website that “Your staking allowance has been approved”
Click on Dismiss and now Click on Slide to Stake.
You will see a pop up window on metamask extension which asks to confirm staking transaction for your RETH, Click on confirm and after transaction goes through you will see a pop up message “You have successfully staked your RETH”
Step 6 — Congratulations!
Now you have successfully completed staking and you start collecting rewards straightaway. You can check on the RETH staking contract for cross verification: https://polygonscan.com/address/0x7D79f6c9dBaa3875c38C904Bf0020aF7F7533dF5
How to claim your RETH rewards
Claiming your rewards works in the same way as staking. These are the steps:
1. Visit ROE Staking website https://staking.realmsofethernity.com/#/
2. Click on connect your wallet on the top right hand corner. You will be redirected to log in to Metamask, enter password and log in
3. Select the account you want to connect it to the staking portal and click next. Then, Scroll down to see my stakes where your current stakes will be seen.
4. Check the unlocked tokens based on your staking period and click on claim. You will see a pop up window on metamask extension which asks to confirm the transaction for claiming your rewards/tokens, Click on confirm and after transaction goes through you will see a pop up message on website that “You have successfully claimed your staking rewards”
5. You can check your claimed rewards on the RETH staking contract for cross-verification: https://polygonscan.com/address/0x7D79f6c9dBaa3875c38C904Bf0020aF7F7533dF5
Note: Staking rewards accrue every second, and unlocked immediately after claiming, allowing you to use your $RETH as you wish. You also are able to then re-stake any rewards that you have earned.
Frequently Asked Questions
1. How to check my stakes, accumulated staking rewards and duration left to claim tokens back ?
After connecting the wallet to the staking site, scroll down to see details about your staking. Here you can check each and every detail of your stakes.
- RETH staked in different duration
- Accordingly you can see staking rewards accumulated for the opted APR.
- Total number of tokens unlocked for claiming (Staking rewards are claimable on daily basis, Principal amount is locked till opted staking period)
- You can claim your unlocked tokens by clicking on claim option (More details on how to claim request to refer next point)
- If you have staked RETH for multiple staking periods, you will be able to see multiple details under my stakes tab.
2. Where will users receive their staking rewards ?
Users will receive staking rewards in their wallet from which they staked RETH.
3. When can I claim my tokens (Principal & Staking rewards) ?
Principal amount/tokens will be locked up for staking period you have opted for (1/3/6/9/12 months)
Staking rewards will be claimable at any point of time one day after staking. Make sure you check unlocked tokens under My stakes tab before claiming.
4. Can I withdraw my tokens before completion of the staking period ?
No, Once tokens locked under staking contract, they can’t be withdrawn except staking rewards.
5. Will staking rewards be automatically re-staked?
No, your accumulated staking rewards won’t be re-staked automatically. Required to perform manual operation to stake again as stated above.
6. What network staking is on & how much would be gas fees for a single transaction ?
Staking will be hosted on the Matic Mainnet. You need a small amount of MATIC currency in your wallet in order to approve, stake, claim your tokens. Typically it requires 0.003 Matic for a single transaction but it depends on the Polygon network.
7. How much time will it take for a transaction to be successful ?
It should be instantly but depends on how congested the polygon network is.
8. Heard about 75% APR for vested tokens, can we know more about it ?
Yes there is a special staking option of 75% APR for vested tokens for seed & strategic buyers. This option is only for the people who bought RETH in view of old tokenomics. As per previous announcement stated back we have introduced this option to the OG’s. For the special staking option, user tokens will be locked up for the entire vesting period which is 20 months for both Seed & strategic, difference between both is unlocking date where strategic is one month before.
Users can’t unstake, claim staking rewards before the end of staking/vesting period of 20 months starting from their unlock schedule (20 Jun’22 for strategic & 20 Jul’22 for Seed). Sample calculations of each and every round will be tabulated at the end of the document. This special staking option isn’t available for Private & Public rounds, No one from this both rounds can stake. Only seed & strategic round buyers (as stated above) can see this option when they connect their wallet, rest of the users can’t.
9. What if I have few tokens under seed/strategic and few under other rounds, am I eligible for a special staking option ?
You can only opt tokens for special staking which were bought under seed/strategic rounds. Rest of the tokens can’t be staked under this policy.
When you click on the special staking option RETH staking contract will connect to Unicrypt contract and performing staking transaction transfers ownership of your tokens from Unicrypt contract to staking contract.
10. I feel less APR for smaller locking/staking periods, Why ?
Our aim is to incentivise long term holders with good APR’s rather than short term Holders.
11. I see it’s APR, So I expect there is no compounding ?
Yes, there is no compounding for the accumulated staking rewards.
