Saket, I find that the hardest thing for me is to remain distraction-free while doing work. I remember hearing somewhere that it takes about 20 minutes to get fully locked into “the zone” when you’re working on a task, and any brief interruption can reset that counter back to zero. To me, this means limiting access to any browsing or phone access during work periods — easier said than done. There are apps out there such as “Focus” that some writers swear by that “force” you to work on tasks with breaks in-between but I haven’t used them.
