Hey I am just a roofer. But give my best to all the PHD’s/ Indeed we need students that aspire to the highest degree. I believe in PHD’s that can carry the water for the greater good not the greatest dollar. The argument that they yield good salaries does not prove their worth for they are supposed to be so much better than that. I think Wall St employed many PHD’s and look where it got us. The markets have been destroyed by the hyper concentration of credentials . Give a PHD a wool sweater please and a cup of tea and then let them think beyond but please don’t let them rule the world. I just don’t think they have the work ethic. Heck they are just students forever. But what do I know I am just a roofer.
