An Open Letter To My CEO

Thing is Talia I lived the same life in NYC. 25 knowing that I wasnt being paid fairly for my work. Living with awful roommates (seems like you have the money to live alone) in a city where I couldnt even afford the entertainment I had moved there for. So I MOVED. I moved to another large city in New York State. It’s not as sexy as NYC but I can afford it. Most devastatingly of all in my new job (where I am encouraged to try new things, and take control of projects) I make the exact same salary as I did in NYC. Except now I have all those things (my own apartment, car, credit card) but I am debt free. No one owes you anything. If you want to live a quality life doing something you love realize that it is unlikely you will find that in the coolest city in the country. But you will go to bed stress free and for me it was worth it.
