Sexism is Hard to Explain
Kel Campbell

Oh dear. This is not sexism. Your arrogance has clouded sexism for good old fashioned manners. Billions of women through history have raised their sons to open doors for ladies, to change their flat tires, and to escort them while walking. Just because a man does these things does not mean he thinks less of you, is better than you, or wants to have sex with you. Once you age and your looks fall away, you will appreciate those same men doing those same things for you. Of course you’re capable of opening your own doors or changing your own tire. Men like being able to help women and instead of allowing that help (even when not needed), you’re disrespecting both him and his mother who took the time to raise him right. One day, when you’re old and gray, you’ll be embarrassed for complaining about sexism when it was really just men being nice to you. When you’re old, even MORE men will open doors for you and help you walk across the street. Is that sexism too? I think not. There’s a reason you find sexism hard to explain, dear. Try picking up a dictionary before complaining about it.
