Great article. Ive tried thinking of a way to illustrate that perceived lack of empathy.
It seems the schism between literal communication and emotional conversation can be the source of a lot of confusion.
An 'ememe' is a unit of emotional communication.
It alludes to communication that can often be about communicating a feeling, which is then expected to be returned.
On the spectrum,it is usual to take language literally and not spot this nuance.
Leaving frustration on both sides.
If more people become aware of when they are using ememes it can help to increase understanding in an inclusive way.
Which is what I hoped for when I helped create the concept and word.
