The Hindu conservative fascist government in India (Bharatiya Janata Party-BJP) and its ideological party Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is destroying the Indian Republic- brick by brick — in its way to establishing a Hindu nation. Today, hard-earned freedom and liberty are under threat from the fascist state. Peoples struggle for building a free, democratic and secular India is under threat.
An Indian Minister for Human Resource Development Satyapal Singh (the ministry that looks into education) said that Darwin’s evolution theory is wrong as no one has seen ape turning into a man. “Since man is seen on Earth, he has always been a man. Nobody, including our ancestors, in written or oral, said they ever saw an ape turning into a human being.” India, since the Modi led conservative Hindu government came to power, has been witnessing a mockery of science and decline in scientific temper.
Indian Prime Minister Modi at World Economic Forum in Davos said that ” Red carpet will replace red tape for investors”. But in reality, this ‘red carpet’ is about walking over the lives of workers and destruction of labour laws in India. In India, labour is cheap, which many neoliberal economists and propagandists boast as a pro-business thing, but the truth behind this cheap labour is brutal exploitation and oppression of workers. Workers are most of the time not even paid minimum wages and are made to work overtime in hazardous conditions. The Modi led conservative government is further diluting country’s labour laws to give easy access for capitalists to exploit workers. When workers raise their voice through the trade unions, they are called ‘business disruptive force’ and are suppressed by using brutal force by the state machinery.
World Economic Forum or Davos 2018, is a place where world’s super-rich and powerful, including the head of the governments and business elites come together to contemplate new ways to push the neoliberal agenda. Davos is funded by around 1,000 of the world’s biggest companies. While the world is witnessing increasing divide between rich and poor due to neoliberal policies- rich becoming richer and poor becoming poor- World Economic Forum in Davos is an attempt to influence the states in formulating new ways to loot their own people for the sake of capitalists.
After looting [demonetisation] peoples hard earned money and paying off the debt of rich corporates, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also attending the Davos 2018.
Introducing new website of Rebel Politik Cartoons
Rebel Politik cartoons/animations portray narratives that are missing from mainstream media discourse about international and domestic political, economic and social issues.
The name ‘Rebel Politik’ took birth as an idea counter to the German word realpolitik, a statist concept that considers politics as ‘pragmatic and practical’. ‘Rebel Politik’ looks at politics, both domestic and international, through the narrative of peoples and working-class struggle and movement.
