How do I send or receive money using QR code on Recon?

With the Recon mobile app, you can make secure and contactless payments conveniently with a QR code.

To send money using a QR code, follow these steps:

1. Tap on the send button on your home 🏠 tab.
2. Choose the third option QR code.
3. Scan a QR code to process payment.

OR

Tap on the second tab -Scan to easily scan a QR code.

To receive ANY amount of money using a QR code, follow these steps:

1. Tap on the receive button on your home 🏠 tab.
2. Choose the third option- QR code.
3. Tap on ₦ Unlimited to scan a QR code to receive payment of any amount.

To receive a FIXED amount of money using a QR code on Recon, follow these steps:

1. Open the Recon app and tap on the Receive button on the home tab🏠.
2. Select the QR Code option.
3. Enter the amount of money you want to receive.
4. Select the duration for which the QR code will be valid.
5. Enter a purpose for the payment.
6. Tap on Generate QR code.
7. Tap on Next.
8. You will now see the payment you created a QR code for. Tap on it to view the QR code.
9. You can scan the QR code directly from the user’s device or share it with them using the available options.
