TE-FOOD is one of the gems that I’ve invested in. The things you will read are not financial advise , I just want to share why I’ve picked this project.

My first post about this project was on Twitter. Since then, the market cap and the price has doubled. This article will provide the latest numbers.

TE-Food traces history of any meat, fish and vegetables that consumers buy in supermarkets. By using RFID tags and QR codes, TE-Food tracks when and where the food produced, in what conditions it was grown and when it was delivered to the supermarket.

$TFD currently around 16 million market cap and trading around the ICO price.

TE-FOOD is a well-established Hungarian-Vietnamese company. Their main products are up and running. They currently focus on 4 main product segments: Identification materials, a B2B app, a B2C app and tools for third party solution providers.

Here is a video about TE-FOOD label stickers and self service terminals in Coop Mart stores in Vietnam:

They have served more than 34 million people so far. Some interesting numbers about the company:

The Team

The company has 2 CEOs and they both have decades of experience in the industry. From blockchain experts to food industry experts, they have a very well defined team.

$TFD Token

TFD Token is going to be used by food producers and supply-chain companies. End-consumers who buy food will be rewarded in TE-Food tokens for scanning TE-Food’s QR codes in supermarkets.

Token Distribution

The distribution looks very healthy and there is 2 years of lock-up period.

Roadmap

You can follow up the roadmap from their website. https://ico.tefoodint.com/roadmap.html

Integration of blockchain into the main product is scheduled for the Q3 2018.

Partnerships

They have big and small many partnerships such as Auchan, CoopMart.

What do I like about this project?

  1. Low market cap, around ICO price and lots of room to grow.
  2. A very well-established company with working products.
  3. 2 years lock-up period for their reserve tokens.
  4. A big hype around the project.

The Problems?

  1. Lots of direct and indirect competition. Ambrosus direct; WABI, MOD, WTC indirect rivals.
  2. They are operating in a strictly regulated market. Strong ties should be maintained with government authorities at all times.

Final

$TFD is my favorite gem from this season. I really believe investing in this project can produce great profits in return, that’s why I’ve grabbed a bag. Let’s see how it’s going to play out for me in the future. Do your own research as well before making any decisions. This article definitely not provides financial advice.

Thank you for reading.

Best.
