“Americans are a decent people. We work hard, protect our own, and look out for one another in times of need, regardless of the color of our skin, the God we worship, or our party registration”. A very telling omission …. it should have read “regardless of …the God we worship OR NONE”.

That kind of mindset alienates a huge number of people — the Atheists, who are very decent people (following your tendency to generalize here) promote rational thought and the understanding of the natural laws of the universe leading to and supporting our whole existance.

Is there really a God….whether God “is” really depends, as Bill Clinton anticipated, on what your definition of “is” is.
