Tasseography also knwon as Tasseomancy. Is the art of divination using tea leaves or coffee grounds.
The fortune teller identifies and interprets the patterns in tea leaves or coffee grounds using intuition.

Is loose leaf tea. Some good examples are black tea or green tea.
The best kind of coffee to use in Tasseography:
Is turkish coffee.
The best cup to use for this type of divination:
Is a small ceramic cup of coffee. The inside of the cup has to be white so that you can see the symbols clearly.
History & Origins:
Tea leaf reading began in asia (mostly China), the Middle East and Ancient Greece. Then it spread to Europe during the 17th century when tea was introduced from China to Europe.
Coffee grounds readings first appeared in Turkey during the 16th century (the ottoman empire) then it spread to the Middle East, Bosnia, the Balkans, North Africa and later the rest of the world.
