I work in law, and I wish I could find something like Evernote that worked as an add-on to our case management software. But even then, I think I can’t fit ‘me’ into any software program. I’ve come to embrace that I’m neuroatypical, and systems that are harmonious with *my* brain are the ones that work. I keep an Excel worksheet as my master case list. I keep to-dos and notes in a discbound notebook. Yes, paper and pen. Sometimes — gasp! — highlighters. I do have a discbound hole punch so I can add in documents (e.g., the case list.) Primitive? Perhaps. Workable? Yep.
