  1. The Gospel being preached to all nations: In Matthew 24:14, Jesus said, “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” With the advancements in technology and global missions, the message of the Gospel is being spread to every corner of the world, reaching people from various nations and cultures.

  1. Increase in natural disasters: Jesus mentioned in Matthew 24:7 that there would be an increase in earthquakes, famines, and pestilences as signs of the end times. We can observe that natural disasters have been on the rise in recent years, with devastating earthquakes, hurricanes, and other catastrophic events occurring more frequently.

  1. Rise of false prophets and false teachings: Jesus warned about the rise of false prophets and false teachings in the last days. In 2 Peter 2:1, it is mentioned that false prophets will secretly bring destructive heresies. Today, we see an abundance of false teachings and false prophets who distort the truth of the Gospel and lead people astray.

  1. Persecution of believers: Jesus foretold that believers would face persecution for their faith. In many parts of the world, Christians are facing increasing hostility, discrimination, and even violence because of their commitment to Christ. This aligns with Jesus’ words in Matthew 24:9, “Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death.”

  1. Increase in lawlessness and moral decay: The Bible predicts that in the last days, there will be a widespread increase in lawlessness and moral decay. In 2 Timothy 3:1–5, it describes a time when people will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, and without self-control. We can see these characteristics prevalent in society today.
