For someone travelling to London, you will be shocked by the number of vegan food options available to you. I’ll be honest, it is hard for me to keep up with the new vegan restaurants, cafes and food stands popping up all over London.

But to make life a little easier for you I have put together some of my favourite places to eat in order to steer you in the right direction.

This is, of course, subject to change, so make sure to check back later on when I have sampled even more of the vegan food London has…

“Travel isn’t always pretty. It isn’t always comfortable. Sometimes it hurts, it even breaks your heart. But that’s okay. The journey changes you; it should change you. It leaves marks on your memory, on your consciousness, on your heart, and on your body. You take something with you. Hopefully, you leave something good behind.” — Anthony Bourdain

Travelling alone comes with its fair share of difficulties.

To begin with, you have to:

  • Plan everything by yourself.
  • Stay safe (no one watching your back).
  • Carry everything.

Hitting the road by yourself also takes…

Health food stores love to sell you expensive ‘superfoods’, that claim to have crazy health benefits.

Some of these claims may be true, but are there any cheaper alternatives already sitting in your local grocery store?

Yes, there most certainly is!

What is a superfood?

For those of you who do not know, a superfood is a term derived by health food experts in order to sell you expensive food products that are normally hard to obtain in your local grocery store.

Examples of these foods include maca, moringa, spirulina, acai berries, and chia seeds. Most of the time these…

The dairy industry will do anything it can to scare you.

Over the years the dairy industry has done everything it can to highlight the fact that soy milk is not ‘real’ milk and that it could be potentially dangerous to our health. They use the fact that soy contains phytoestrogens, which they think will surely give you man boobs if you’re a man and disrupt your estrogen hormone levels if you’re a women. The media has tried to twist your perception

Everyone needs to relax about nutrient deficiencies.

Seriously, people ask me, “Reece, what can I do to lose weight?” When I tell them to cut back on the meat, fish, and dairy they look at me like I am a crazy person.

They tell me, “but I need meat, otherwise I will be nutrient deficient.” They are always worried about protein, calcium or some other vitamin they think they need a pill for.

What they do not worry about is what they are actually putting into their bodies.

They worry about protein, but they don’t worry about saturated fat and…
