And while we are disabusing everyone of their inappropriate stereotypes, Asians are mildly represented and nowhere near dominant among winners of the Fields Medal, often regarded as the Noble Prize for Mathematics. The generally reported skill at math is mostly mechanical manipulation and neither particularly creative nor greatly advanced, and computers are better at it anyway. But I love the food.
