She would be far better off if she simply stated her intentions clearly if she believed that he was perceiving them incorrectly. If he was only interested in her sexually, he would soon depart, so it would entail no net loss to her. IMHO this is a difficult thing to accomplish in fact, because nobody likes to rain on someone else’s parade, and we may fear a negative response, but it is far more effective than expecting him to figure it out from clues or signals. When women have done it to me, it was a relief. Ladies, the alternative is really just as painful for us as it is for you.
