Bom dia! I am at the gate in São Paulo waiting to board to go to Cuiabá. It was not too bad going through security even though no one spoke English. The phrase that I have used the most since I have been in Brazil is “voce fala inglês?” Which means “do you speak English”😂 the frequent answer is no. But the people are very kind at the airport and have helped me get to where I need to be even though we don’t understand each other.

Soon I will be in Cuiabá which is one step closer to being in Sorriso, Mato Grosso where I will be staying for the year!
