AHHHHHHHHH! It is almost that wonderful time of the year again. September 7th, we the 2017–2018 NFL season will commence. And with that comes the talk of playoffs and the Super Bowl which will be hosted in Minneapolis, Minnesota, February 4th, 2018, in the new state-of-art of U.S. Bank Stadium. Now, well all remember the epic meltdown performance displayed by the Falcons last year in which the Patriots were able to comeback from a 28–3 deficit in the third quarter.

With a new season comes a new list of teams that are at the top to reach the super bowl and come away victorious. Before they’re able to reach that point, each team must make it way through 17 excruciating weeks of football just to reach the playoffs. They’re only a select few teams who are able to live up to the potential and reach the glory.

Here is my list of Super Bowl 52 bound teams:

Oakland Raiders

This has to be one of my favorite teams in the league right now. The Raiders have emerged as an contender in the Super Bowl talk. Former Super Bowl champ running back Marshawn Lynch has decided to come out of a yearlong retirement and join the Raiders this season in Oakland which is also his hometown. Also with the recent signing of its star quarterback, Derek Carr to a five-year, $125 million dollar contract, the team has their eyes focused on the upcoming season. Hopefully the Raiders can bring a championship to their new 2019 home, Las Vegas.

New England Patriots

The defending champs are at the top of the list of teams across multiple social media platforms. After that amazing comeback in last year’s Super Bowl left many people this year hopping on the bandwagon. Key addition pick up Brandin Cooks at wide receiver gives the Patriots more depth and skill at that position. The re-vamped defense has a lot to prove this season not only to the league but themselves. Legendary coach Bill Belichick will be looking for his SIXTH Super Bowl Ring along with his future Hall of Famer quarterback Tom Brady. NFL has become a lot popular due to the New England Patriots and the impact they have had recently.

Green Bay Packers

After a rough start last season the Packers were able to bounce back and reach the playoffs but untimely ended up falling short. Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has a new target to throw to in vertical threat tight-end, Martellus Bennet. Rodgers has the chance the lead the league in total number of touchdowns thrown in a season again after posting 40 touchdowns last season. The Packers are hungry to return to the Super Bowl this year since their 2012 Super Bowl victory. Their fans are anxious to see their team on top once again and hold the Vince Lombardy trophy, named after the great Packer coach. Green Bay is a team that will always be capable to adjusting their style of play to succeed in the league. I guess we can thank coach Mike McCarthy for that.

Dallas Cowboys

America’s Team the Dallas Cowboys stunned everyone last season with phenomenal play from rookie quarterback Dak Prescott and rookie running back Ezekiel Elliot, a tandem that could not be reckoned with at all. With an impressive 13–3 record last year, the Cowboys look to duplicate the same performance this year. With such a young team with high caliber talent it is only a matter of time before the Cowboys bring home a championship. Who knows, it could possibly be this year. All eyes will be on the Cowboys come the start if the season. I think they will live up to the pressure and surprise once again this year.

Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers are excited about getting exciting receiver Martavis Bryant back after a yearlong suspension. Elite running back Le’veon Bell has become the best back in the league in my opinion. His speed and versatility is unmatched. And how could I forget mentioning receiver Antonio Brown, the most electrifying player in the NFL right now. With Ben Roethlisberger leading this team of hungry wolves, I’m sure they will have no problem making their way to the Super Bowl. Hopefully the Steelers can join their city teammates the Penguins and bring a championship to the city of Pittsburgh this season.

Man this is a hard choice….but my favorite to win it all is…….the Washington Redskins. Yes, the Redskins. I am a huge Redskins fan and even though they didn’t make my list, I will support my team to the fullest!!!
