I wanted to argue with you about how we need science to survive in our “scientific” interconnected world by giving an example of vaccination. And then i realized that vaccination cannot protect from unknown disease and simple heuristics and superstitions from the past still work (to some degree). The best example is CDC recommendations on preventing STDs: basically they say “Thou shalt not commit adultery”. And we have to take it seriously in the world of drug-resistant bactariae.
