Alien in the Now

In researching the Sufi’s during the 13th century at the peak of the revival of Islamic spirituality, as preparation for reading Fakhruddin ‘Iraqi (well known Persian Sufi Poet and Mystic), I suddenly had a strong yearning to walk beside the Sufi’s of this time period, to see what they saw, to hear the wisdom of the esoteric directly from their divine knowledge. Is this why Allah transported my spirit back in time when I was listening to Sufi music? I found myself with one foot in the present and the other foot listening to the music’s vibrating echoes in a cavernous mosque with blue and white tiles mosaic. My soul is somehow inextricably linked to the Sufi mystics of old. I first became entranced with the Sufi concept of the multiplicity of God when I was in my twenties. I was so excited by the truth of the concept of multiplicity because it resonated so deeply within my being, that I was sharing the knowledge during an Episcopal Bible Study led by the Dean of the Cathedral until Allah placed in my mind I needed to stop sharing as the Dean was seeing the word “heretic” float across his consciousness.
Allah teaches in mysterious ways — the supernatural event of being in two places at one time is revealing to me where my heart is; it is in love with the Beloved in the esoteric depths of mystical truths, but is still residing like an alien in contemporary time. In order for the earth to flourish, the light must increase — humanity must move to a higher level of vibration. It is in the domain of faster vibration where Allah’s Light can be found — I have been there. His Light is seen and sensed all at the same time, and is filled with love, compassion and wisdom. When one vibrates at a faster level, the entire physical body feels lighter — like suddenly the gravity of earth has lost its pull on the physical. The event of Jesus’ resurrection is actuality being presented in the past which represents the future. Once human beings (it will never be all of humanity, as many will stay within their base animal natures) begin submitting to Allah, He will bless us with His Spirit to guide us closer to Him. In ALL previous instances of communities being destroyed by Allah because of disobedience, with the refusal to listen to Allah’s messengers, the righteous were saved before the destruction. This will be the same before the earth is permanently destroyed. The Qur’an repeatedly admonishes and teaches to pay attention to the signs, and this is a recurring theme in the Bible and the Qur’an — to understand that those who refuse to believe will suffer through destruction, while the righteous will be saved. That does’t mean to say that the remaining believers on earth won’t be refined by fire first, but the resurrection of the body and spirit will happen all at once in His perfect timing.
