YORUBA YOUTH SOCIO-CULTURAL ASSOCIATION WORLDWIDE (YYSA) ELECTS NEW PRESIDENT; PASSES VOTE OF CONFIDENCE ON AMBASSADOR BALOGUN OLAKUNLE AS D.G

YYSA at her emergency National executive council meeting held today Wednesday, 2nd September 2020 at Dapson Hotel & Suit, Osun State was presided over by the newly elected President of the Association, Mr Biodun Kumoye to review the activities of group and its leadership.

We reaffirm our unalloyed confidence in Amb. Balogun Olakunle as Director General of the Association and commended his uncommon courage and uncompromising sagacity in the development of Yoruba Youths worldwide.

We equally commended the courage exhibited by the newly elected President, Mr Biodun Kumoye to paddle the affairs of the Association on a progressive path and an all encompassing administration being the next in position as former National Vice President.

The former president, Mr Olalekan Habib was impeached for gross misconduct, power drunk, arrogance, dictatorial tendency, lack of leadership acumen, hostility and single handedly manipulating the Association constitution for his parochial interest and self centeredness.

His (Mr Olalekan Habeeb) impeachment become expedient to salvage the Associations image and integrity of its members.

The Yoruba Youth Socio-cultural Association Worldwide, YYSA is one and indivisible under the new leadership of Mr Biodun Kumoye as President and Amb. Balogun Olakunle as Director General.

There is no crisis within the YYSA and we are not in contention with any individual as the core objective of the group remain daring to us.

We remain unequivocally committed to the ideals of the Yoruba Youth Socio-cultural Association Worldwide being the apex Yoruba Youth body in Nigeria recognize by law to foster Unity, love, justice and harmony amongst Oduduwa descendants.

YYSA shall continue to flourish and advance greater course under the new leadership.

It became imperative to note that YYSA is not a one man show or personal entity that one man can arrogate all powers to himself in a democratic system, and his misdeed will remain unchecked, hence, YYSA is only experiencing leadership change for a progressive course, which is normal.

It was further resolved as follows:

That the National Vice President position is zone to Ekiti State.

Itesiwaju odo Ile Yoruba lo je wa logun!
