Some other medicines you need to pack in your first aid kit are antibiotic tablets, aspirin, antibiotic ointments, wipes, oral thermometer, and hydrocortisone ointment. These were essential medicines. Now it is tools turn. After all the medicines, keep a torch, battery-operated radio, phone, batteries, and charged lights. With the time update your batteries and charge them on a daily basis. Pay a frequent visit to your first aid kit and if you find any medicine expires throw them immediately. Check your batteries and their charging on a daily basis. If you have a busy schedule check all these essentials once in a week.
Apart from the batteries and medicines, there are also some other important things you should keep ready all the time. You can stock your cars with ready-made meals and water if any natural disaster is forecasted. Like emergency blankets, clothes, camps, gloves, gauze pads, tweezers, scissors, and cold compress. You can store a portable hydration system in your car if you are going hiking. Keep coolers full of ice cubes in your car.
