Are You The Blame For Your Lack Of Success?

When you put the blame on someone else, then you don’t have to deal with the consequences of your decisions

Its so easy for you to blame someone else for why you’re not where you want to be in life. My parents didn’t teach me this, since I have kids I can’t do that, my partner doesn’t allow me to do this, the list of excuses can go on forever. When you put the blame on someone else, then you don’t have to deal with the consequences of your decisions.

After I got out of college, I started taking personal finance seriously. When I looked at how much debt that I accrued, I started blaming everyone for not warning me how expensive college was. My mom should’ve warned me, the high school counselor didn’t give me a heads up, the government does this on purpose; etc etc. But did any of those things force me to go to college?

So the next time you decide play the blame game, remember which player your in control of.

Every problem in our life is exactly that, OUR PROBLEM. The best part about accountability is that you can control yourself. When you put the blame off on somebody else you can’t control their actions but you can control yourself!

My mom didn’t force me to go to school, the high school counselor didn’t coerce my decision to obtain a degree and the government didn’t harass me to get a loan. These were all my choices and I take full responsibility for them. So the next time you decide play the blame game, remember which player your in control of.
