They didn’t offer a quality service. I did buy a Groupon to test it out because I’ve hired housekeeping services when I lived abroad and it was a God-send.
Homejoy seemed like a great way to check it out, but I had a question about the voucher. I contacted their customer support department and NEVER got a reply. I tried a couple of times and just gave up because the voucher wasn’t that expensive to begin with.
They definitely undercut their service too much for the sake of acquisition. However, they couldn’t be bothered to answer a customer inquiry, so they also lost a customer and one who probably would have stayed (or poached their cleaner).
