These past few days I’ve been constantly reading about an Artificial Intelligence that is a creator of content for blogs, social media, articles, and others. But the question that keeps in my mind is: Can I use AI to help me as a content writer, or will it eventually take my job?

Well, we know the world is changing, and with it is necessary to modify and adapt the way we work. The thing is that AI is not a new topic, we have seen software programs that use machine learning tools to help their costumers to execute some action, as many applications that we have available in the market.

So the point is, how can I use the Artificial Intelligence to help in my daily life as a content writer? Then, here are 3 ways to use it:

1. Research assistance

To help with data searches, AI can be used as one more alternative for us — in addition to the commonly used. For example, with an artificial intelligence tool, it is possible to gather information about the topic you’re going to write about and to have data analysis to switch into better insights. But, it’s important to understand that you need to validate all the data that the AI provides!

2. Grammar mistakes

As content writers, we recognize the importance of having good content without any grammar mistakes. For this purpose, you can use AI. There are also applications and tools for this objective, I’m sure you've already heard about some of them:

  • Grammarly;
  • LanguageTool;
  • Hemingway.

These apps analyze the sentences of your content in order to improve, correct mistakes, suggest better synonyms and guarantee that everything you type is clear. Grammarly, LanguageTool and Hemingway, work similarly with only a few differences, such as the price for usage.

3. Content optimization

If you need to know where to improve your SEO and have relevant keywords to improve your content readability, it’s possible to use the AI to help with these constructions. However, it is indispensably to have knowledge about search engine optimization to achieve the success in your content.

What is the Chat GPT?

GPT — Generative Pre-trained Transformer — was released in 2020, by OpenAI but has become the spotlight in the last couple of days. The idea of the GPT is to generate a text according to the database of the AI in its deep learning algorithms. Furthermore, the GPT can translate text, answer complicated questions, generate content for different usages, and so on.

To use or not to use AI?

We need to advance, learn, and develop together with these new technologies. Using artificial intelligence as one of the facilitators in our daily lives is memorable. But, at the end of the day, it is always essential to understand that we, as writers, can create rich and creative content. For this reason, AI is here to be an assistive tool to our jobs.

I, particularly, want to learn and see what this artificial intelligence is capable of helping me and facilitating little things in my routine as a writer. And for you, what do you think about these new technologies? Are you going to use or no? Leave a comment, I want to know your opinion and ideas.
