I learned the story behind One Bus Away and who helped design the app. I learned that they also had trouble gathering transit information. Another issue that they ran into was the timing between the busses and when they arrived and departed. There are many factors and external interaction in designing an app.

Nordstorm

Nordstrom conducted a usability test for their website, specifically the portion about their annual sale. I learned that they go through many usability tests and changes to end with their final product. It stood out to me the problems that people face are not that obvious to begin with and are the reasons usability tests are done. I also realized that the color as well as the order in which users read the page are very important in creating a website.

Future products

I will modify the wording on my usability tests so the users feel that they are not being tested and that the product is. I will also look into external interactions that I could potentially collaborate with when I design a product.
