Chili’s Grill & Bar Restaurant @ Jaya Shopping Centre Experience

After office hour end, I have an opportunity to review Chili’s Malaysia new food menu around my working area. Somehow the traffic is quite jammed especially it is after raining moment. Then I decided to walk from Asia Jaya LRT to Jaya shopping centre. It took me about 20 minute walking journey although the GPS mentioned just need 16 minute walking time.

Upon arrival, I walked around the Jaya shopping mall since I arrived early. Around 7.30pm I went to meet up with Mr Elya at Chilis restaurant.

I like the interior design of Chilis atmosphere and took some picture around.

Upon seated, I get to know a girl blogger named “Ms Purpletiff” together with her friend. There are two set of new set menu for 2 person where you can pick an appetizer with 2 entrees on both RM75 and RM85 price below.

Then I choose the Grapeade juice that cost for RM10.35 as my drink from Chili’s food menu below.

The drinks is served withing 5 minute of waiting time and it taste similar to Ribena flavour.

Well, we just choose South western eggrolls and chips and salsa as our appetizer. The classic nachos contain beef as we couldn’t try it. The taste of South western eggrolls is nice and the chips with salsa taste is not really salty which is quite nice.

As for our main course, we have choose 4 different dish from the 2 normal entrees and 2 premium entrees. All the food is being served within 30 minute of waiting time. The name of the dish is as follows.

1) Smoked chicken enchilada stack — Smoked chicken and Monterey Jack enchiladas, stacked three high with chopped cilantro, house-made pico de gallo, sauteed inions and drizzled with Chipotle Pesto sauce. Served with a side of citrus chile rice and corn salsa.

2) Queso fundido chicken — Grilled chicken smothered with queso fundido and topped with a drizzle of garlic BBQ sauce. Served with mashed potatoes and a side of seasonal veggies.

3) Avocado chile chicken — Southwest Chile chicken topped with diced avocado and a drizzling of avocado sauce. Served with a side of citrus chile rice and corn salsa.

4) Grilled chicken sandwich with Queso Fundido — Grilled chicken breast on a toasted buttered bun, smothered with Queso Fundido and topped with sliced green bell peppers, sauteed onions and citrus mayo. Served with a side of homestyle fries.

The smoked chicken enchilada stack taste really nice like a pizza and I liked it.

The Queso fundido chicken dish is really not bad as I liked the cheese.

As for the Avocado chile chicken dish, I find it quite okay although I am not really a avacado person. The last dish is grilled chicken sandwich with Queso Fundido and I liked it very much as it suite with my taste.

After that, we have 2 different dessert to try out which is Skillet chocolate chip cookie for RM17.95 and Oreo topped Molten cake for RM25.95 looking at the promotion menu below.

The Skillet chocolate chip cookie taste a little too sweet for me. I liked the Oreo topped Molten cake than comes with a decadent, cream-filled cake, topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, Orea cookie pieces & a drizzle of chocolate sauce. All the dessert is served within 10 minute time after we ask the waiter to serve the dessert meal.

The Orea cookie piece is really nice when comparing with the another one. Overall it is a great eating experience and I enjoyed myself. Below is the details of Chili’s Grill & Bar restaurant at Jaya shopping centre.
