MPs who may lose their seats over Brexit

A number of MPs stand to lose their seats at the next election because they support Brexit.
This is because their electorates are against Brexit but their parties, Conservative and Labour, are in favour of it. So if these MPs do not challenge their parties soon, at least before Brexit is due to happen on 29 March, 2019, they will get the blame for the damage it causes.

The damage will be felt by every family in the UK.
According to a July 2017 report by the Centre for Economic Performance (CEP) at the London School of Economics, the local impact of increased trade barriers will be negative across the whole country. Crucially for pro-Brexit MPs, this economic damage will be worse in areas which are against Brexit.
According to an earlier report by the CEP, the cost to families could be as much as a staggering £6,400 per household per year.
So these are just a few of the MPs who could lose their seats because they support Brexit.
- They have small majorities
- Their electorate is against Brexit
- Their electorate will suffer the greatest damage
- They will lose on a swing against them of less than 2%
