I have been gone for a month. When I left, I was following twice as many people as were following me. (This ratio seemed like a good way to make sure I was challenging my comfort zones and truly exploring the medium of Medium.) I have returned to fined a complete reversal, but no new comments or hearts or highlights. I am baffled. And my OCD has kicked in requiring that I explore to “fix” the ratio of follows to followers. Ah me!
