The line of questioning you mantioned is part of the problem…had you, as a man, been raped by a woman (it happens) sit in those shoes for a minute and then see the face of the officer in charge of your well being ask you those aforementioned questions: what we’re you wearing, had you been drinking, were you being flirtatious or giving mixed signals, why were you walking home alone…no question is inherently wrong, but context is everything and in this context they are the wrong questions…all of those questions imply that the victim somehow in dress or action or word invited the attack. That is why, in this context, they are the wrong questions.
