Chocolate ! One of my favorite things to eat! So I have to tell you about my absolute favorite place to enjoy it. L.A. Burdick at 5 East 20th Street in Chelsea. When I’m in the Flatiron District and I want to take a break, I break for Burdick’s !

Their cakes are awesome ! A great selection, and every time I go I try a different one. My favorite is whatever I’m having at the time ! Their hot chocolate is pure liquid love !

It’s a place I can go to and relax, they have cute little tables with a nice large window in front. It’s a great place to linger with chocolate . really savor the delicious tastes. A fine place to go alone, or with friends. And a sweet place for a first date- getting to know someone over chocolate and good conversation in a quiet warm place is better than a crowded loud bar anytime !

One of the things I look forward to when Fall comes is to pop in for a hot chocolate and a sweet cake, then on the way out I may buy some of their little chocolates in the shape of mice to share with my friends in my travels .

From time to time I will share with you something that thrills me, a little PEARL if you will. Well my chocolate pearl is L.A. Burdick…and I may pop over soon !
