Day 3: June 21st
Family and Friends
This morning I departed from my house to visit my uncle and grandma. They could not visit me for my graduation, so I went to them. Not a big deal for me, sort of glad that they did not come otherwise it would have been somewhat embarrassing. My uncle, his colleague and I went to a buffet and ate a lot of food then went to grandma’s house where I took a sweaty nap without air conditioning. Then they presented me with cash, and a bunch of it.
As my other uncle took me home, we took many pictures to send to my dad on the way. As soon as I got home, I prepared to depart once again. The rest of the night I spent with Rhian Moore and Derek Wang. The most thrilling part was winning a doll on my second try at the carnival game! My heart never pounded like that unless I was prepping myself for a race. Overall it was a wonderful experience — good food, good company, good music. But, Annika that creepy girl. She shows no mercy.
Katie went to Hawaii today, so I have a plan to stay at Jason’s or Derek’s after the move so I can prolong the time I have left in South Pasadena. Hopefully that’s enough to get her to sign my yearbook insert. I started reading Speaker for the Dead today, very interesting.
