Please fix your statement! When you say “much of the industry — while slashing costs — is often still profitable” what you refer to? A band of few! Come on! Even Bill Gate realize that something is wrong with what we have done. Big technology companies will have to sustain all of us soon or later and avoid to search desperately how to hide their money as they do now (see Apple as an example). The unconditional basic income will be certain.
