Crumbs count too

“if you have that small piece of chocolate,
it’s not like it doesn’t count, the calories add up”.

What if small wins, much like calories, add up too?

Everybody is talking how being consistent is the name of the game, and yeah that is a way to build a following, but writing once a year for 2 weeks isn’t bad also, you are still leaving your mark on the world.

Don’t beat yourself up about “that project” that you didn’t finish at all, or that blog which you “abandoned” after writing 16 posts in 3 months straight.

It’s a part of you, you’ve learned something and you are a better person for it. Beating yourself up will just make you give up even more, and giving up is still a part of the process.

Going on a diet for 6 times and failing the 7th is still fighting.
If you think about going for that 8th time, you are a fighter.

Those who don’t even think about doing something little bit out of the routine or at least a small effort to improve their and the lives around them, they are the ones who are missing out.

It’s not that they don’t have a fulfilling life,
I’m sure they do, but it doesn’t hurt to try
just a crumb of a new possibility ?

Because crumbs count too.
