truth ELEVATES
Keeping it real is the kindest and most helpful thing we can do for each other.
Toss out fluffy fake-ness and fill that space with something genuinely heartfelt and watch yourself, and those around you, propel upwards at an unimaginable speed.
You can even be a more genuine listener by just plain old really listening to what someone else is saying rather than thinking about what you might say next and pretending to listen. (Believe it or not, that one will give you an awesomely sweet kickback when you happen to need someone to listen to what you have to say.)
I’m not suggesting we toss out the keep it all flowing politeness we often exchange in the workplace or elsewhere, but if you ever catch yourself flat out lying just to sound or look good or to sound like you ‘think’ you are ‘suppose’ to sound to whoever might be listening, do everyone a favor, buddy, just stop.
