Many have seen this coming for years and unfortunately the new president did not tell the people that this was a very real concern in jobs disappearing and instead blames it entirely on immigrants and companies offshoring. No doubt that these practices have cost major middle class job losses though. I read the book ‘The Second Machine Age’ a few years ago that warned of the coming tide.
