My favorite extensions for angular development

Visual Studio Code is a development IDE by Microsoft. It is free and the community provides a lot of extensions to improve the development.

Below you will find my current extensions I have installed to improve myangular/html/css development.

Angular extensions

This plugin to VS Code provides Angular language services for Angular. This plugin will provide completions in template files and template strings.
Important note: This extension needs to be installed as VISX (it is not available in marketplace yet).
This extension for Visual Studio Code adds snippets for Angular for TypeScript and HTML.
This package is a language extension for Microsoft Visual Studio Code. It extends the javascript and typescript languages to add Angular2 specific features for inline templates and stylesheets.
When you define an inline template or inline style sheet using the backtick character(` ) the content will be processed by this extension.
Easily navigate to typescript(.ts)|template(.html)|style(.scss/.sass/.less/.css) in angular2 project.

HTML / CSS extensions

It’s about time someone created a standalone extension to compile SASS/SCSS files in Visual Studio Code. Don’t you think?
A Visual Studio Code extension that provides CSS class name completion for the HTML class attribute based on the CSS files on your workspace.


IDE Improvments

Port of IntelliJ IDEA key bindings for VS Code. Includes keymaps for popular JetBrains products like IntelliJ Ultimate, WebStorm, PyCharm, PHP Storm, etc.

This VS Code extension automatically shows Markdown preview whenever you open new Markdown file. If you feel annoying to type “Ctrl+K V” or “⌘+K V” (preview side-by-side) many times, this extension helps you.
This extension ensures that all files end in a new line when you save them.
