Over the past 24 months, we have significantly increased our technology capacity and adopted best-in-class data science for credit decision making, in order to build a more scalable, digital lending business. Our teams have built technology and processes to seamlessly collect and verify information, accurately assess loan applications, and disburse money in under 24 hours.

In line with this strategy, effective today, Wednesday, March 25, 2020, Renmoney will no longer operate a Direct Sales channel. This means that unfortunately, we will have to let go of our direct sales employees and some supporting functions. All affected employees will receive their full benefits in accordance with the terms of their employment contracts.

Customers can apply for loans, open a savings or fixed deposit account by visiting www.renmoney.com, calling our contact centre on 0700 5000 500, or by visiting any of our five branches in Lagos — all of which now operate using the digital lending platforms we have built.

Over the next few months, we will be rolling out new technology — including a mobile app for customers to manage their deposits, savings and loans — to improve convenience and deliver better, more responsive service to our customers.
