The efficiency of any market is dependant on the incentives which guide interactions between various parties. PRIMARY users will therefore be incentivised to build an identity on the platform which is based on their skills and contribution. This member score system secures users’ digital identity. It is a crucial step towards implementing a smart economy as PRIMARY’s decentralised marketplace will have both virtual and real world goods on offer.
A digital identity for the smart economy
The member score system will be instrumental in granting users access to blockchain hubs. Individuals will be accepted into these hubs based on their member score and any recommendations they receive from highly ranked members. The global network of blockchain hubs will be set up to enhance the blockchain industry, attract specialists in the field and contribute the development of smart economies. The first of these innovation hubs will open in October 2018 in Berlin.
Leveraging smart contracts to incentivise users
The PRIMARY community can be assured of a fully trustworthy system as each individual member score will be determined by using smart contracts. Consequently, no rogue actors can unjustly influence the composition of individual ranking factors or a user’s final ranking. Further, the PRIMARY development team will use the feedback from the pioneering members of the community to continue working on member scoring throughout the beta testing phase.
How the member score system works
Each user on the PRIMARY platform is assigned a ‘member score’, which is the amalgamation of each user’s ENERGY level and their ranking on the application’s internal achievement system. The achievement system gauges the quality and quantity of a users interactions using an artificial intelligence engine on the decentralised platform and assigns them points accordingly. The user profile will reflect how much the user believes in the project, what kind of talents he can offer to the community and how much influence he has within the decentralized platform and within the community.
What is ENERGY?
ENERGY is a representation of a user’s commitment to the development of PRIMARY’s decentralised ecosystem and is calculated by an AI algorithm based on the number of PRY tokens a user locks in and their level of engagement on the platform.
How users get a high member score
There are several ways for users to improve their overall member score. The scores are segmented by the following types of interaction:
- Members can increase their level of ENERGY by locking in PRY tokens for a set amount of time.
- A user’s achievement score is also improved by contributions in the form of posting interesting content,
- contributing services to the PRIMARY ecosystem and
- engaging with the community (whether online or offline).
Additionally the achievements of each user have a local and a global level in order to recognize the reach of the achievements. Global achievements are categorised as high effort achievements and they will be granted with additional titles as well as rewards for their impact. Over time the member score will represent a member’s journey within the worldwide network. All given engagement opportunities add up to actions that lead to individual achievements.
