Poem: Untitled

Think about what is left
every mark and moment
that you carve into this life
will be seen in the next once
just not by you.

I see it though, in sentances unfinished
angry words in the heat of summer
cold stares in the worst of winter.
Every step and every broken bone
not yet experienced in the world.

Whatever is done and whatever is undone
we seal it in as part of us
our fates and futures, what follows
this time or another, I am watching.
Waiting to see what else will change us.

I’m a couple of days behind now, but not overly concerned. Eight poems in eleven days and a 600 word short story isn’t too bad.
