My Imperfect Diary: Day 1
I am bad at doing things regularly. Everything from eating breakfast to staying in touch with friends and family to updating my Instagram feed.
Like most of the people reading this, 2016 was a rough year for me. My parents got divorced; I struggled with balancing my final year of law school, a challenging support role within a secondary school, my increasingly fraught home life and commuting between the three. I took on a job in Skegness which didn’t turn out so well. Maybe I’ll write more about that in the future.
Anyway, for the time being, I am unemployed and living with my dad. I promised myself that I would use the time between quitting my last job and starting my next one to focus on my creative projects (writing songs and stories and articles and plays and… you get the picture).
Which is why today, I’m starting my public diary. I’m going to try and write something everyday, be it poetry or prose or something else entirely.
I hope you’ll join me along the way.
Here’s my blog, where I write thinkpieces and reviews. Or something like that.
