NEW incentive-based taxation system. can tax crypto. logical conclusion to taxation in post-fiat era.
Walter Melo Could you explain it please?
Johan Nygren it’s like the IRS 2.0, it automates and crowdsources the work of IRS. Individuals, driven by the incentive of basic income as a reward, replace the work formerly done by tax agencies. The tax individuals collect can then be taxed by a peer-network budget. the US could upgrade their IRS with my system, crowdsource the work of collecting tax, and then tax 50–70% of each individuals dividend-yeild, as long as they get to keep enough basic income to stay incentivized to ‘mine’ tax.
Johan Nygren replacing the central IRS and their top-down mechanisms will lower costs and increase profit, and allows for a more decentralized and dynamic and resilient network
Walter Melo it´s like some type of libertarian tax system?
Walter Melo sorry i am very bad in english language.. what is IRS?
Johan Nygren government agency that does tax stuff
Johan Nygren it’s a decentralized tax system, a new standard
Walter Melo awesome!
Johan Nygren :)
Walter Melo this is like voluntary taxations?
Johan Nygren nah but the incentive is shifted, from top down to bottoms up
Johan Nygren individuals do all the work, but get part (or all) of the revenue that flows through them
Walter Melo sorry i dint understand
Johan Nygren anyone who pays tax will get a competitive advantage, since people want to buy stuff from companies that pay tax, since people get to keep part (or all) of their share of that tax
so it’s ‘voluntary’, there’s still market incentives
Walter Melo looks like some type of corporativism
Walter Melo really i am not understanding .. sorry
Johan Nygren it’s a free market for taxation. a company might offer to pay tax, and that might attract you as a costumer. but, if that company buys their goods from someone a company that doesn’t pay tax or pays less tax, then they’ll be prevent from paying tax themselves, which might make you choose another company since you really want a share of the tax (basic income)
it’s a new mechanism for collecting tax, a decentralized, crowdsourced, mechanism
Walter Melo i understanded that will end the conventional tax system .. but i cant undestanded how.. why do people still need taxes?
Walter Melo why do we need taxes, even if there’s no government?
Johan Nygren it’s more of an upgrade of the existing tax system. the taxes pay for welfare services, like basic income, and could be used to pay for other public services if such agreements are made
Walter Melo public services?welfare? serious? youre not speaking my language
Johan Nygren it’s a new tax collecting mechanism, so it’s obviously going to use a lot of the patterns and metaphors of the previous tax system.
Walter Melo why do we need taxes after all?
Johan Nygren it’s up to you. this system provides basic income for its users, and it gives people an easy-to-use tool to co-fund services, some might find that attractive
Walter Melo wait? are this system permitting that me receive taxes from my customes, as i was an government? and these taxes woud be voluntary?
Johan Nygren no, your costumers will recieve tax from you, and from your supply chain who also has to pay tax for you to be allowed to pay tax. any company that manages to curate a supply chain that pays tax will be attractive to consumers, and will gain a competitive edge in the marketplace
Walter Melo i’ts a nice idea.. but i cant found this to be utile.. ok .. why do a company would pay taxes to customers? i’ts not so much more easier to use the “buy / sell” system .. i like your products. then i’ll buy it
Johan Nygren to attract costumers. that incentive system has been in use prior to this system, it’s not new
“The dividend scheme makes it more advantageous to be a loyal coop member. As more people realize the economic benefits, the idea is that more people will become members, more people will shop at coop and that casual customers will transform into regulars and consolidate their purchases to coop. This will make coop more profitable, making it possible to further improve the stores and offers to members.“
