From the universally acclaimed to the distinctively diverse, each level offers a unique challenge that caters to varying degrees of art appreciation and knowledge.
Easy: At this entry-level, players will encounter images that blend the most iconic paintings from the top ten universally celebrated artists. These are the masterpieces and names ingrained in the collective consciousness, accessible to everyone, regardless of their art background.
Intermediate: Elevating the challenge, this level presents combinations of well-known works from a broader circle of 40 legendary artists. Designed for individuals with a foundational interest in art, these images amalgamate the familiar with the slightly less known, encouraging a deeper engagement and recognition.
Advanced: This level is the pinnacle of Art Masher’s challenge spectrum, weaving together a rich tapestry of styles from 101 of the most illustrious artists in history. It is tailored for the art aficionado, someone who has not just a passion but also an extensive education in art. Here, the blends are sophisticated, the styles diverse, and the recognition a true testament to one’s depth of art knowledge.

Copyright Information
Artificial Intelligence (AI) can generate art inspired by existing works, but it’s important to note that this does not constitute a violation of copyright. AI-generated art is a transformative process where the AI does not simply copy the original work but rather uses it as a source of inspiration to create something new and unique. This falls under the concept of “fair use,” which allows limited use of copyrighted material without permission for purposes such as criticism, parody, news reporting, research and scholarship, and teaching.
On the other hand, AI-generated art itself is not protected by copyright. This is because copyright law requires an element of human authorship, which AI, as a machine, does not possess. The U.S. Copyright Office, for example, has explicitly stated that it will only register works created by human beings. Therefore, while AI can create fascinating and complex works of art, these creations are not eligible for copyright protection. This field is evolving; legal norms and regulations may change as technology advances. It’s always recommended to consult with a legal expert when dealing with these issues.
