Effectively rugged, taken over, left dormant and now rising again once more like a Phoenix! An ‘OG’ 2021 project with cool art!
Here is the story of the Crazy Panthers..
Minted back in October 2021 the 3333 collection size @CrazyPantherNFT collection minted and sold out within 30 mins for 0.05 eth per NFT.
In time of NFT mania this was no surprise with the awesome and pfp-able style artwork that many in the NFT space had come to love!
In the first week the secondary sales came flying in with over 1000 sales in the first week. This included some big sales with ETH at the time over $3k and bear in mind gas was constantly 100+ gwei as well.. meaning each NFT purchase was costing around $100 or more just in fees to purchase.
The original team quickly released a 2nd collection — ‘Scary Panthers’ which was the main activation in the roadmap. This was a free 1:1 claim for holders. As mentioned before- gas was super high and claims were costing 0.05 eth (ish) to claim Scary Panther. It was capped at 888 items and left there.
After this, things quickly went downhill and in Decemeber 2021 I offered to take over full control of the project. I was, (and still am), a large holder of the project and loved the community so wanted to continue the Panther project.
After several months of hard work and a lot of money spent in buying floor, giveaways and events (around 20k spent) I decided it was best to leave it to rest dormant for a while and wait for a better time to take this project on.
After all, this is a 2021 project and I believe this will count for something in the future.
That time is now. I have been thinking for a while now about what the space actually needs. This is a safe haven, tucked away from all the false roadmap, sending eth to random ‘influencers’ & other nft scams that go on all the time constantly in this space.
So, the @CrazyPantherNFT are here to onboard new users to the nft space and provide guidance and tips to help new and existing people along the way!
We are looking to create a tight knit community of like-minded individuals with an aim to create a better, more positive, nft space.
