Reveel Technology Inc. announces a new project management platform for creatives, designed to facilitate administrative tasks in the age of remote collaboration.

With billions of dollars in unclaimed royalties due to incorrect metadata, Reveel offers artists a tool that helps manage the business side of virtual collaborations by automating the capture of creator credits.

Even before 2020, it was already clear that remote collaboration had become the new normal when making music. Just look around — dutch producers making beats for US rappers, jazz collaborations recorded in different timezones — creativity is unbound by borders. But we realised that there was no tool that helped manage the business side of these virtual collaborations. That’s why we built Reveel.

Co-Founder Adrien Stern says: “I first realized that the process of crediting collaborators was broken when I produced an album with artists from Jamaica, Chile, and the UK. I spent weeks chasing people just to make sure they were given their due credit.

“It turns out that labels spend 15–20% of their resources collecting, verifying and clearing metadata — and yet, over 75% of tracks have missing credits! Those statistics blew our mind, so we decided to tackle the issue and build Reveel.”

Keeping track of exchanges with collaborators, often across multiple channels, has become increasingly complex, as the creative process becomes more decentralized. Even once a record is set for distribution, producers often find themselves with a huge list of loose ends to tie up. Who sent what, when? What split did we agree on, and with who? Who should be credited for this? Where are the files with their details?

Innovations in the workspace have revolutionized the way people work and conduct business. Reveel is bringing the power of cloud-based collaboration and project management software to the entertainment industry, with a platform designed specifically for content creators. We provide a simple, easy-to-use solution that supports producers and collaborators throughout the process, leveraging automation and software integrations to ensure that all the boxes are ticked on the administrative and business side.

The two co-founders of Reveel, Adrien Stern and Walid van Boetzelaer, have developed the platform inconsultation with producers, songwriters, engineers and session musicians who work with artists likeAlicia Keys, Jidenna, or Black Coffee, to ensure that Reveel is adapted to the workflow and creative processes of current artists.

Arabian Prince, a founding member of legendary rap group N.W.A. has joined the company in an advisory capacity. He says: “Every artist knows what it’s like to get left out of credits… it stings! Getting credited for your work is how artists get recognition, build their reputation and careers. What Reveel is doing, by automating this, will have a huge impact on the livelihood of millions of artists.”

Today, Reveel officially launches its beta, available on request for creators. We’ve already had hundreds of sign-ups to test the application, and significant interest from major labels, who see the value that an integrated collaborative solution can offer. Creators can sign up on our website.
