Considering who will produce Google’s next Tensor

1. There is a possibility, although not substantial, that Tensor G4 will be produced using TSMC’s 4nm process. (I still believe that G4 will be produced by Samsung Foundry.
2. Google had intended to produce its in-house designed version, Redondo, through TSMC’s 3nm process. However, due to issues, Tensor G4 is now planned to be utilized as a minor upgrade version of G3, named Zuma Pro.

3. Tensor G5 is scheduled to be manufactured using TSMC’s N3E.

4. The time for Google to independently design its chips is pushed to 2025, delayed from 2024.
