1. Lamar Jackson | Louisville

The raining Heisman Trophy winner is back for his junior season at Louisville to try to become the second player ever to win multiple Heisman Trophy’s. One of the most athletic quarterback’s we’ve ever seen play the game. He should make another run at the trophy.

2. Sam Darnold | USC

As a red shirt freshman he led the Trojans to 8 consecutive wins, and won the Rose Bowl. He has a very realistic chance to win a national championship, Heisman Trophy, and hear his name go first overall in the 2018 NFL draft. If even a couple of these come true he could go down as one of the best USC quarterbacks of all time.

3. Baker Mayfield | Oklahoma

The two-time Big 12 Player of the year is back for his senior season at Oklahoma. The former walk on it Texas Tech has the chance to put his name in the same circle as Sam Bradford and Jason White and bring a Heisman Trophy back to Oklahoma. How old his historic career end?

4. Josh Rosen | UCLA

Rosen is coming off of an injury that shortened his season and is looking to get back to all American form. He was a very highly recruited quarterback and has always been expected to go high in the NFL draft. Will he push Darnold for the top spot in the NFL draft of 2018?

5. Jalen Hurts | Alabama

Don’t forget that the true freshman was the SEC Offensive Player of the Year and lead the Tide to 14–0. He scored the go ahead touchdown in the national championship game with only 2:07 left on the clock. Deshaun Watson and company were able to march down the field and run the fairytale story. Don’t be shocked if Jalen Hurts is the best player in the country as they take off the training wheels.
