Graco Simple Sway Swing
Graco simple sway swing instructions
The Graco Simple Sway Swing has one of its key benefits right in its name: simple.
This is one of the most basic swings and if you are looking for a very affordable model without compromising on quality this might be the one.

It features 6 different swaying speeds in a side to side rocking motion and unlike most other swings even a vibration mode with two different intensity levels — greet if your baby likes a soft vibration either alone or in combination with the swaying motion.
The seat is rather large which makes it perfect for when your little one starts growing and will make your swing last a little longer. This also shows in the maximum weight: you can use it with children up to 30 lbs. For the very young there’s a removable head support cushion included and a five point harness ensures safety for all babies. The entire set measures 31 x 38 x 30 inches.
The swing offers 15 different songs and sounds to be played from the top element which also has a mobile with three little soft toys. Improving children’s product safety
In addition to the regular battery mode, it has a plug-in option so you don’t need to constantly change batteries if your socket-swing-distance allows for it since the cord is not very long. As with many other swings, the batteries will last about 4 hours if you use it wordlessly. Good to know beforehand: 4 D-cell batteries are needed for the swinging motion and another separate D-cell for the vibration.
Weight age limits for baby swings
Weight limit
There are baby swing weight limits, but they are not universal for all swings because they depend on the build and quality of the individual model.
Most manufacturer claim the limit for their swings is somewhere between 25 and 40 lbs. In reality most 40-lb-kids are too big for many baby swings and weight isn’t the critical issue.
Age limit
The age limit is much more important than weight. The minimum age for a child to sit in a baby swing is at least a half year if he or she has enough muscle built up to hold her head up on her own and tall enough to fit securely into the harness without being able to flip-flop around and possible get tangled in the straps.
Once your baby gets too old to enjoy the swing, gets too active and constantly moves around, you should stop using the graco swing.
